Dr. Stephanie Goldberg

Born and raised in Montreal,  Canada, I moved to South Florida 18 years ago with my family.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University. At Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, I became a National Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.

At Palmer, I specialized in low-force techniques including, diversified, Thompson, SOT, and Activator Methods.  I enjoy treating all types of patients, but have a special flair with children, which prompted me to seek extra training in pediatrics and maternity.

I pride myself on quality medical care, and my patients can benefit from my soothing and empathetic bedside manner.  I consider myself a holistic practitioner, which means that I treat the whole body and not just the symptoms.

I’d like to share with you my personal experience with NAET:

About ten years ago, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.  Dealing with the shock of having such a debilitating disease at such a young age was tough, and learning about the treatments that I would have to start was another blow.  But drugs were the only option I was given,  and so I started taking weekly doses of chemotherapy that made me sleepy and irritable, gave me horrible mouth sores, and made my hair thinner.  After some time, I was still in a great deal of pain and my movements were quite restricted.  My doctor recommended adding another component to the treatment which involved going to the hospital for monthly infusions. Because that also yielded no improvements, I settled on giving myself an injection once a week in addition to the chemo.  I continued this way for years, being constantly disappointed when my blood work would come back very high for inflammation, even though I already knew it would because my joints were so swollen and painful.

At one point, my doctor even advised me to quit chiropractic school because he felt I would be disabled and not have the physical ability to treat patients.  This was an unacceptable thought for me.  I took it upon myself to research alternative techniques and came across an interesting article about food allergies.  It turned out my inflammation was strongly driven by certain food groups including gluten, dairy, night shade vegetables, and several fruit. Within a couple weeks of beginning treatment, I already noticed that my joints were less swollen and painful.  I was so encouraged and positive, that avoiding these foods was not an issue for me.  I continued eliminating my allergies to these foods and started feeling like a new person.  After about 6 months of being free of my previous allergies, I had my blood tested and both the doctor and I could not believe our eyes! My inflammation levels were at zero! My doctor monitored me for a few weeks, then declared me in full remission.  We immediately started weening off of the drugs.  I am happy to say that I am still arthritis free after 3 years!

Because of my personal experience with allergies, I was motivated to become a NAET practitioner so that I can help other people transform their lives as I did.  I strongly believe in the technique, and feel so grateful to be a part of this revolutionary method that I believe will eventually change medicine as we know it.  Thank-you to Dr. Devi Nambudripad and her talented crew for giving me the tools to make positive changes in people’s lives in a very natural and non-invasive way.  I look forward to meeting many new patients and joining them on this exciting and rewarding health journey!
